local fair

Watching her brothers ride the mini trains.

Just like her bros, and her dad, she could drink water all day long.

Cousins taking the rollercoaster head on.

One of the only rides sweet Adi could do.

working at the carwash

When a carwash becomes bath time.

catching waves

Still big into the hand holding.

I thought the goggles were a nice touch.

Apparently "surfing" is a serious sport.

finding peace

This man has been my solid rock through this entire process. He has turned into both Mom and Dad while I try to process the great loss I feel and try to heal. And for him, I am forever grateful.

a beautiful soul

I'm not sure if I'll ever be able to put into words how I feel about the loss of a woman I loved dearly, so for now I'll leave her gorgeous pictures here and hope I can come back to this post one day.

Mike put it perfectly - there are few people in your life that are good people. She was definitely one of them.

an inspirational second mom to me. a loving aunt to my kids. a courageous fighter. most importantly, a dear friend to us all.

I was a better person having had you in my life.
my heart is broken and my speech is lost.
until we meet again.
I love you, honey.

pools and zoos

Following Pops into the unknown.

Always keeping up with the big kids.

We added another to our crew. What's one more?

Poolside lunch.

riding this heat

Staying cool.

When we don't have the double, a single plus one just has to do.

Our niece could not be more chill if she tried.

My brother in law took this and I think it's the neatest picture.

Waiting for flight.
