on the farm

Spying on the billy goats.

No matter where we go, if I think the scenery / background is neat, you can guarantee they're posing in front of it for a picture.

I love this stud.

Spent Keegan's actual birthday at another winery.  Just encouraging good taste for wine while he's young.

My mom got him a cupcake for us to sing Happy Birthday to, and needless to say, he devoured it after smashing it to pieces.

life vests

D and Brent were using my sports (and regular) bras as 'life vests' to save themselves in the "deep water" (aka the area behind the bed).

I love when he falls asleep with his ankles crossed.

first haircut

I caught some raw emotion at Keegan's first haircut. He was so well behaved during it all; he sat on my lap while Declyn sat across from us getting a trim himself.

He picked out some new shoes and immediately wanted to take a picture to send to Dad.

insta updates

Enjoyed a little Sunday fun-day watching the Ravens win with our friend Danielle.

Cheesing it up on the carousel.

Keegan being one of the big kids.

Poor Fen... she may have fallen a little on the totem pole.

Just two little lads in a big, big world.

Despite the final product coming out (in my opinion) so, so good, making it was by far the best memories.  My mom, Mike and I stayed up until midnight prepping the food for the party - the cake being part of it.  My mom and I must have spent a least a few hours individually baking each layer.  Once they were done, Mike began to ice them.  I literally peed my pants (a little) when he put a layer of icing on and the other layer just slid right off.  I was so deliriously tired I didn't even care.  We ended up keeping two layers as back up just in case we couldn't get a new one baked.  Being the Martha he is, Mike re-baked this beaut by himself the next morning.

I have to look through my professional camera to find better pictures, but for now this will have to do ... the mini cookies we had baked for his party.  The number one's have his initials and an arrow to fit the Wild One theme.

Goody bags for the wee ones.

Devouring the birthday cake.

Riding the tractor with his cousin, Parker P. Totally smitten, this one.

We are so grateful for this little guy - his infectious smile and love for life make every day a little better. His temper, on the other hand, could use some work. ;)

Partyed out in Nanny's arms.

fall has arrived

A little leaf throwing to start off this fall season.

Riding the tractor on the farm.

Burying his cousins in a pile of leaves.

Picture perfect.

The newest boy band posing for the cover of their album.

jake and the neverland pirates

When you wake up with hair this sweet, you know it's going to be a good day.

Painting pumpkins at Uncle Casey's requires some serious safety gear.

Getting their trick-or-treat on.  I wonder at what number they are considered to be a gang...

Stopping to 'talk' along the way.

All I wanted was a back picture of his costume.

Despite being blurry, I love this picture - clearly because of Keegan's facial expression and body position.

Ready to head out.

Eyeing his goodies.

Hands down my favorite picture of Jake and The Neverland Pirates.
Brent : Tick Tock (the crocodile)
Keegan : Skully (parrot)
James : Jake (the pirate)
Declyn: captain hook
