I scream, you scream

CC treated us to ice cream ... and her grandsons decided to each give her a bite of theirs.  At the same time.

Slowly the sugar started to invade their bodies.

This one is big into brushing his teeth, making an electric toothbrush the best investment we could have made.

whyyyyy monday?

A screenshot from a meltdown he was having.  It makes me laugh every time I see it.

Spending the morning fishing.

Captured right after Caden's grandma told them, "Simon says toot on the tree."  And moments before Declyn decided to drop pants and openly pee on the tree.  We had a nice little conversation about indecent exposure and the police officers coming if he does it again.

copycat

Cali is part human, part dog ... and apparently loves to watch movies with the boys.

Imitation is the greatest form of flattery.

all clear from the doc

Unfortunately Keegan (and Mike) had to leave Declyn's birthday party early after Keegs fell through the gap in the bleachers.  The fall was maybe two feet, but it was onto concrete and he was diagnosed with a mild concussion.  :(  Luckily, it was a quick trip to the ER and he is fully recovered.  Still a very scary moment, though.

He is our Linus -- thumb in the mouth and blanket where ever he goes.

I love when they have sweet moments like this.

And even sweeter ones like this.

He is such his father's child.  He told me, "Look, momma, I made a belt."  A few days before Mike had used the chain from my clutch as a belt to hold up his pants after forgetting one at home.

a birthday hike

The hubs turned 32, and this was part of his horoscope that my mom read in The Washington Post.  My only question is, when exactly is "on the way"?

Declyn has gotten pretty good at working the camera.

This selfie is hands down one of my favorites.

A (spooky) hike through the woods is all Mike wanted for his birthday.

Really capturing the essence of the hike.

Ever since my mom introduced him to caterpillars, he is so intrigued by them.

a superhero celebration

Obsessed with helmets ... and the horse that went with it.

Hands down he got the closest to pinning the shield on his designated superhero.

D, on the other hand, needed a little assistance.

Happy fifth birthday to my oldest nephew!

hiding out

I wouldn't say he's the best at hide and seek, but I can't say he's not creative.

I love when he passes out like this - really making himself comfortable.

Morning cartoons with two of his favorites.

sprinkled with love 💕

One of my dearest friends, and Godmother to Adilyn, threw a sprinkle for her.  The day could have not been more perfect, nor could have the shower itself.  Everything was gorgeous and this little lady is beyond blessed.

The best post-party pic we could get.  Again, such an intriguing angle for that bump.

out cold. 3⃣4⃣ weeks

Boy do I miss the days when passing out at Target was socially acceptable.

We'll take a nap where we can get one.

Thought this angle of what looks like a legit basketball stuffed under my shirt was pretty neat.

D turns three 🎈

Went to the local zoo on Declyn's actual birthday, and this was one of the souvenirs.

I was completely fascinated with the giraffes.  I couldn't believe how close they would get to us!

I love this boy so. Where is the time going??

When we were back in town later that week, we celebrated with his friends and a donut birthday cake.

And his third celebration was with my family at a baseball game.  We were able to make dreams come true - meeting Chase, Marshall and Skye from Paw Patrol.

Jessie was able to capture this sweet, private moment between Pops and Dec.

And this one of D hitting the baseball.

And the three monkeys jumping in the moon bounce right before it legit collapsed on all the children inside in about 8.2 seconds.  Luckily I was standing at the entrance where Keegan was hanging out and just started pulling kids out.

Aunt Lyss and Brent straight cheesin' for the camera.

the greatest show on earth

I asked Mike if he could please dress Keegan ... and this is what I got.  Direct quote, "He picked out the tights."  Well technically they're leggings, but I see your point.

The minute Declyn woke up from a deep sleep inside the shopping cart, I knew it was inevitable .... but my pregnant legs couldn't get him to the bathroom in time.  And this was the aftermath.

Spent the afternoon at the circus celebrating Declyn and Jamie's birthdays.  Aside from Parker and Mike briefly falling asleep, it'd say we all had a great time.

a sweet ❤️

Even though I shouldn't be surprised, it really amazes me how much Keegan imitates what the older boys do.  It seems he's able to do so much more so much quicker, which makes sense since he watches them all the time.

James was sent to sit on the step and Keegan immediately went over and sat with him.  I mean ... how sweet?  Two minutes later he was probably throwing a rock at somebody, but you have to take those kind moments and cherish them while you can.

This flamingo was a token from a winery we all went to right before Mike and I moved.  My parents put it in their backyard as joke, but have decided to keep it up until we move back.  It has quickly become one of Keegan's favorites things about their yard.

the race is on

One of my besties from college is due with a little girl two days after me.  We got to celebrate her, and partake in a little bump-to-bump photo op.

How sweet is our other college bestie's little lady?  Out of the five of us, four of us have or are due with a kid(s), and we will all have a little lady.
