pre-k 🎃 party

Declyn's school had a little parade around the building followed by singing the parents three songs.  They were precious.
Do you see him waving to us? Darling.

I'm kind of excited that her coat also serves as earmuffs.

justice league

Somebody loves their Uncle Casey.

James checking in after she fell asleep on me for three hours (in her Ergo), which resulted in peeing/slightly pooping through her diaper, outfit, Ergo, and my sweater. Unfortunately we had left her diapers at home (realized right before we pulled into the zoo, 7-11 didn't have any and we didn't expect to stay long.. we were wrong) and her change of clothes in the car. Luckily, my sister in law had her shit together (unlike us) and had a 2-3T pull-up that we slapped on her, as well as Brent's 3T shirt and James 4T shorts. I had to keep her bow on so people still knew she was a girl.

Watching the giraffes.

Again, it's rare that I'm in a photo (see the camera in my hands?!)

I don't know why but I see this picture and to me it's like looking into the future -- for some reason Declyn looks like a teenager here to me.

Life is better with dance parties.

Their relationship melts me to the core.

James chose Justice League as this years costumes.
In order: cat girl, flash, superman / wonder woman, green lantern & batman

It was a little chillier then we anticipated, so Mike made her a do-rag.  We dropped the ball with the third child during this outing.

When you have leftover mustaches from decorating your pumpkins.

Spooky Tots may have thrown a great party, but Motherhood Maternity has it right with an enclosed play area.

And she's here!  Happy Birthday, sweet Carson Rose.  Our newest niece has arrived, weighing in at 9 lbs 13 oz with a beautiful, full set of jet black hair. We are a proud aunt and uncle yet again!

We were beyond excited that we got to meet the little lady the day she was born, and then come back two days later to steal more snuggles.

Love her so already.

5⃣ months

Homegirl is infatuated with her brothers, has started giving open mouth kisses, smiles and laughs at everything and everyone, squeezes extra tight in her hugs and legit loves life.  Oh, and she uses both hands to feel your face to see who you are; sometimes while making direct eye contact. We honestly cannot get enough of her.

One of the best things about preschool has been these post-school naps.

With Jamie awaiting the birth of our newest niece, we had a fun, gorgeous day (in the 80's!) at the playground.

It's tough to watch Mom work out and then play on the playground.

Of course Keegan went straight for this toy.  Check out that follow through.

when D has the 📷

Since it's rare to get pictures of myself (if they're not selfies), I take pride in posting a post-workout picture.

Nappy nap.

love this tribe of ours

She is one of, if not the, happiest baby I've ever birthed, and possibly known. (knock on wood).

D is seriously the most kind older brother.  He's always making sure she's happy and if he so much hears a peep out of her that isn't a laugh or smile, he always try to fix it.  He has become notorious for playing peek-a-boo with her in the car, and saying, "It's OK, Adilyn, I'm right here".

Lets just pretend I didn't set this one up.

Love this little lady and her super chunky cheeks.

Mike thought she needed some protection for lunch.  Apparently things get a little messy in our house.

Spent the afternoon with Joe, Jamie and Parker at the pumpkin patch.  Declyn couldn't stop going down the slides (at one point him and Keegan were both in my lap going down a slide that took my breath away). And Keegan went down an inflatable slide all by himself for the first time.  The look of pure joy on his face when he came running over, babbling about going down was priceless. And made my heart smile.

Target makes ah-mazing stickers that are way better then carving an actual pumpkin.  Sadly, (but oh so happily) our carving days are officially over -- as we will now be sticking to super easy and way better looking, stickers.

Our babies.

Mornings in our house starts the day right.... until one of them melts. ;)

Our good friends (one of whom I've known since kindergarten), got married and in honor of them, I decided to step it up a notch and make it a jumpsuit kind of wedding.
My handsome date was the perfect accessory ;)

Love my besties. And with Lo currently living in Chicago, it makes time together that much more special.

I told Mayela this reminds me of Ellen's infamous Oscar selfie. Google it.

Received this the morning after.

The hubs and I enjoyed a little date weekend. Following the kick-ass wedding we got to spend the next afternoon at the Ravens v. Redskins game.

fitzgerald for the win 🏆

Keegan refuses to be outdone.

Despite having five grandchildren, this was the first time my mom has ergo'd a child.

My attempt at a boys group shot.

... and a (failed) attempt at a picture with my crew.

I still laugh so hard when I see this picture.  Look at the form of my boys verses Casey's.  Gets me every time.

While we may not encourage it, it's worth taking a picture of.
Anyone else see Mike's huge, proud grin on his face? He's going to regret this when she's a teenager.

#youmaynowKESSthebride

Sadly, Mike had to stay back and watch our tribe since our babysitters were also at the wedding (and nobody else would take on three kids, ha), but the silver lining was that I got this beaut as my roommate.

Love my little lady so.

Even though the camera wasn't able to capture it, the view was gorgeous.

Mother of the groom was a show stopper; as usual.

Mike sent me this adorable picture.  I love to see how he dresses our babes when I'm not there, and this was definitely a favorite.

I never sit by the window (I'm an aisle kind of girl), but this was one view I was happy to witness.  #cloudsandwich

Had to take a picture of the beautiful sunset for Declyn - we always point them out to each other.
