my valentines

Our Valentines.

These three make my heart smile. And the fact that they humor my photoshoots makes me love them even more.

After Declyn got dressed he informed me that he was wearing "fake red." I believe the correct color is maroon, but I get your point.

Trying out some new looks.

My best friend and forever Valentine.

I took this picture on the day we were leaving the hospital with Adilyn.  On the right he's carrying our beautiful baby girl, and on the right is my sitz bath. The things this man has done for me. Hashtag true love.

a sunny weekend with cc and pops

My parents came for the weekend and the weather was absolutely gorgeous. How could we not take advantage? Plus, my mom wanted to have lunch with a view ;)

Totally soaked and loving life.

Adi was fussy, so I gave her a bottle.  When I looked down to push the stroller, I caught sweet D rubbing her head. I mean .... my heart melted.

Sucking in her bottom lip has become her infamous face. It may make her look like an old lady, but it makes me laugh every time.

Their smiles. <3

Always searching for that lost food.

Oh yes, and we frequented the zoo.

meeting charlie

The farm got two new horses. And they are studs.

Totally under control.

Speechless.

Such a lady with those crossed ankles.

skiing in snowshoe

These two. I really hit the dad jackpot with this one.

Gang's all here. And ready for a long weekend of skis, drinks, and good times.

Such a beautiful view to wake up to.  Oh yeah, and these two goofballs aren't too bad looking either.

Night tubing was no joke. Even as an adult, I had a kick-ass time.

Declyn skied for the first time and I have to say, I was legit impressed with how well he did.  Granted it was all on the bunny hills, but the kid nailed it. And it was nice to have some away / alone time with him ... Mike and I decided awhile back that when we moved back we were going to take the kids out individually on dates to give them that special attention they deserve and need. And I have to admit, this was a great start.

Views on views on views.

There was a little confusion and D and I ended up walking the entire 'village' together. In our snow boots. While I was carrying my skis and poles. Wasn't great. But we made the best of it.

And took lots of breaks.

Waiting in Starbucks to be rescued. I had to text my mom, who then called Mike at the rental house, all because cell service sucked. (This was after waiting for my phone to defrost itself and turn back on).

Getting ready to ski.

Each couple was assigned a meal. These two lovebirds made the same exact dish ... but as you can see, one of these is not like the other.
