keeping me laughing

Declyn was adamant about wearing his Flash costume this morning, and swore Keegan also wanted to wear his (eh ... ). Getting out of the car for SS, he told me, "They won't know who we are, Mom."  :)

Watermelon obsessed.

the girls take sunset

The besties and I had a long weekend away and it was exactly what we all needed.

One of my favorite pictures.  I mean, there's not a lot of places that have water in the front and a kick-ass bridge in the back.

Not planned, of course,

school celebrations

A birthday hat, some goody bags, and these amazing cookies below made for one fun birthday celebration at school.

I want Mike and I to go into business. He won't, ha.

peter cottontail

Got to see their Aunt Kaitlyn on the way home and we were so happy!

I don't know what it is, but I really like this picture.

The Easter Bunny turned the corner, and Declyn leans across the table and whispers to me, "It's just a costume." Touché, sir.

egg hunting (and dying)

When they ask me to lay with them, it's hard to say no.

Getting ready to search for those eggs.

All of her eggs were "hidden" in plain sight in the grass, and the number of times we had to tell the boys that they were for Adilyn...

Meanwhile, right next (technically diagonal to) door, ALYSSA got engaged during her family's egg hunt!! Words can't describe my excitement for this love of mine.  The number of parties she has thrown for others (and weddings she has been in), I am beyond stoked to finally throw some for her.

Dying eggs with Uncle Justin was apparently hilarious.

Jess took this picture of us, and I'm in love with it.

These two. <3

national harbor

Headed to Inner Harbor, detoured in Old Alexandria, and ended up here. A perfect day.

... the sweet pic of Adi won't show up, so I'll have to upload it later. poor girl ...

our baby is four

A birthday wouldn't be complete without a costume change.

This kid requested a cake for his birthday breakfast (after reading a book where the monkey's bake one for their mom), so a cake for breakfast he got (thanks to Mike).

Duck Donuts for the win - time to share with our SS friends.

Seriously. Four?!!

hbd, (aunt) jamie

One of our favorite people had a birthday, so of course we were there to celebrate...

Hibachi style.

Keegan's crying, Declyn's laughing, and Adilyn is just taking it all in.  Seems right.

beautiful spring days

Stopping to smell (and be photographed in front of) the flowers.

The face of a boy who got to spend a beautiful spring morning at the park.

Someone was a fan of Duck Donuts.

Reality.

baseball birthdays

In keeping with traditions, we went to a baseball game for Declyn's birthday.

Group shot - take one.

How is this sweet stud - 1. ours and 2. four years old?!

The aftermath of the cotton candy.

I love this kid so.

Pretty Parker P as a kitty cat.

D and his friend showing off their new ink.

This face (that he got from James) is him in a nutshell right now.  Everything is funny.

Love this little fam of mine.

Not sure what Mike told them to do for this picture, but I would guess it wasn't this.

Round two.  Between the two pictures, I think we got everyone ...
