happy easter

Although this is the best family photo we could get, it's also my favorite.  I really do love pictures that capture the genuine moment instead of the pose.

Still keeping a nice distance, but nonetheless showing his brother some love.

Headed out to go find some eggs at Pops & CC's Easter Egg Hunt.

Justin's dog, Wally, decided to drop in and help Declyn look.

Painting eggs instead of dying them.  A tradition I would love to continue-- less mess and better results.

The final result.

Catching up on our mass' current events.

Mike captured this cutie giving him some love.

Celebrating pooping in the potty!  Could these two not look more alike here?
[adorable side note : Declyn requested he see CC as part of his reward, so my mom got to join us at the ice cream shop for the celebration]

After ice cream Mike bought Declyn a ball and we stopped at a soccer field on the way home to get some energy out.

celebrating pops

This happy love couldn't be more thrilled to call my dad his grandpa... and we couldn't agree more.

The rain won't keep D inside.  This lovely picture was taken post-creating a birthday video for my dad.  Even though we went bowling to celebrate his birthday, we still had to send him some love on his special day.  Don't worry, I cropped the video and only sent what was appropriate (luckily it was when he was wishing my dad a happy birthday, telling him he loved him and blowing him kisses).  :)

potty training pharrell

Day 1 of potty training.  We took the no pants approach.

He is obsessed with his fedora from last summer (that was tossed in the ocean and never got its shape back) and won't take it off.  Ever.

The kid even grocery shops in it.

I didn't want him to feel alone, so I pulled out Keegan's summer fedora.

And he loved it!

There are parts of Keeg's hair that are so white/blonde that they're transparent.

Despite being trapped at home while we work on potty training, he never looses his sense of humor.

Showing off their artistry skills during their bubble bath.

D really loved the swings.

Jamie snapped this sweet picture that I love.

Sporting Daddy's hat to try and block the crazy wind.

One ... two ... three.

Mike always takes him to the fun spots.

cousin love

We drove to VA Beach for the weekend to spend some time with Joe, Jamie and Parker and D and Parker were way too cute.  They would wake up in the morning calling for each other.  Declyn even walked around calling, "Parker P, where are you?"  My heart melted.

They just had to brush their teeth together.

Even Keegs loves his cousin Parker so much already.  He knows a sweetheart when he sees one.

Not the first time I've subconsciously matched Keegan and myself. However, when we were out and about I ran into a little boy who was literally wearing my exact same outfit -- exact. same.

A little look into what our future may hold...

Despite how unflattering this pic is for Keegan, I still think it's hilarious.  The Children's Museum had so many fun things for the kiddos to explore.

Catching up at Jimmy Johns while waiting for their subs.

sleepy babe

Apparently Keegs falling asleep after/during a meal is more of a norm instead of a fluke.

This one I understood -- we were in the car and he was in his baby sleeping bag.  But still...

Early morning smiles in our bed (directed towards Mike).  Sometimes I can't get over how big he is already.
