engine no. 28

Mike needed to be in Los Angeles for a few days thanks to work, so Fenway and I got to tag online for the ride.  Today he didn't go in until 10, so as a family we got to sleep in.  I was able to catch a few rays on the rooftop pool before the high rises blocked the sun.

I love receiving pictures from my family and for today's treat my dad sent me this one of my cutie nephew as he turns into a little boy.  Just look at that mischievous face!

And while I was lounging at the pool, Fen was lounging on the bed.  Don't worry, I took her for a long walk when I got back, only to have her shake uncontrollably as bus after bus passed us and a police officer or two hit on me.  That's right, I still got it.

Mike was kind enough to take a picture of Fen and I while we stopped on our run at a scenic view.  The great thing about this path was that she gets to run without a leash and does pretty well, despite the other dogs and people that pass by us.  Needless to say, this is definitely our running spot for the next two days!

SIDE NOTE: We saw Rachele (a good friend / sorority sister / roommate) and Jordan (her boyfriend) for dinner!  They took us to a great restaurant downtown called Engine No. 28 where we caught up over drinks and good food.  It's nice to have friends close by.
