marilyn monroe

More sad news. Today Small's best friends husband passed away from cancer. The two were the epitome of love so much so that one of the last things this sweet man said on his death bed was that he was worried for her being by herself when he's gone. Another tragedy brings to light that we need to always remind those that we love that we love them and to appreciate every second we get to spend together. I can't imagine loosing my better half (as my grandma Gen likes to call Mike) and I will continue to thank God for every day that we have together.

May you rest in peace Pete and know that you made one very special lady forever happy. We will miss you.

Today Fen and I spent the day at Coronado Beach where she made new friends in between laying under my chair for shade and I spent the day becoming interested in Marilyn Monroe.

Just enjoying a good read, My Year with Eleanor.  (Thank you, Lauren!)

Fenners loves the journey over the Coronado Bridge.  She knows what's coming when we cross.

The nice thing about this beach are the planes that land literally over your head.  It'd never seen them lined up coming in for landing 5 at a time.

My sister.in.law sent me this priceless picture of my beautiful nephew.  The best part was it was 4:30 their time and he was out cold.

This was our family's backdrop as we ran 5 miles.

Murder or suicide?  I'll let you know once I finish my next project-- reading biographies on her.  People magazine got me intrigued.

Can you tell how much Fenway misses her cousin Harley?  She'll attack anything that resembles her.
