Now that I've had a night to process today, it wasn't really that bad, but the highlights were definitely having the cart full of dog food run into the car while I was putting Fen in the car and then getting harassed by a possibly homeless man with two golf clubs while I was waiting to turn. He was persistent on me cracking my window so he could tell me something about his clubs. Luckily another car was turning in (and he was in the way) so I politely told him that he needed to move before he got hit.
Fenway can not contain her excitement when she's happy and going to the dog park definitely makes her happy.
Lauren got me this book called Starters -- it's for young adults but it's intriguing and I can't wait to finish it. (Sorry Meag, Pride & Prejudice is going to have to wait). Mid-October and I'm able to lay out at the pool? Weird.
James starts out really well with Skype, but the longer I stay on to talk, the more distracted he becomes. Today he was pulling a Casey and laying on the floor playing with his new truck. Smalls said he spent an hour just pulling the string from the back, wheeling it up and sticking the "key" in its lock? I know it sounds easy, but the fact that it entertains him for at least an hour says a lot about him -- and how much he takes after my brother.
