showing our appreciation

After we were home for about a week, and we were starting to get into a routine, we wanted to show our appreciation to the nurses and staff at Fairfax Hospital who made things just a little easier for us.  I wrote personal cards, and had Mike pick out some beautiful flowers, for those five nurses who really touched our hearts and pizzas for the staff who made some sort of contribution -- whether it was small or large.

Due to the fact that he did spend time in the NICU, Declyn had to spend his first month in what I liked to call a bubble -- no socialization in public.  Therefore, he had to wait in the car while I ran everything into the hospital.

Target has the cutest, and I might I add cheap, clothes -- for both little gents and little ladies.  Something similar to this blue and red must-have can be found here.

I just can't get enough of this sleeping babe's extra long eyelashes.
