Before Declyn left the NICU (he was moved from the second floor - where it's tubes and wires, to the sixth floor - where it's strictly weight gain) his blood was drawn and given to us in case of a natural disaster (we'd have a sample of his blood.) I thought it was a good sign that the drop melted into a heart.
Bundled up and ready to finally go home!! My little curious monkey -- eyes wide open. His expression may not show it, but he was happy and ready to go!
Can you tell how proud we are? We didn't waste any time taking pictures of him.
