five months

What you can't read as one of his five month accomplishments: And I can eat solids like a champ.
After his bath this kid was happy to be clean and ready for some food before bed.

Polo onesie found here.

I didn't position myself properly, so instead of looking at Mike (who had the camera) he was all smiles at me.

It wouldn't be a proper photo shoot without a fist full of fingers.

A little standing up action never did anyone any harm.

At five months we can't live without...

1. our whale bath tub
2. his crib!!  now that he's sleeping through the night we have finally made the transition to his crib!
3. the breathable bumper that goes around his crib to help prevent those little toes from getting stuck.
4. the sheep sleep sound for night time
5. the Sleepy Sounds app for when we're out and about and he can't keep it together.
6. this kid drools constantly so a bib (one of our favorites here) and any sort of teether work miracles -- he seems to really like Soph and this ring he stole from his cousin, Brent.
7. any book to read him before bedtime.  this charmer makes it entertaining for me to listen to.
8. working it out in his jumperoo and an exerciser for upstairs
9. some new toys for him to look at it.  he loves his ball and enjoys grabbing this sassy during car rides.
10. tummy time and sensory development combo - zoo activity gym
11. every one in awhile he sits up in his Bumbo, but his thighs get stuck exiting.
12. a baby monitor to watch him sleep.  we use this monitor, but once our next one comes along we're going to switch to Summer Infant where you can have one screen with two monitors.
13. solids -- we use the Gerber line from Target. He's now up to almost 2 meals a day-- yogurt in the morning and some sort of fruit/veggie in the afternoon. these spoons are great -- they turn white if the food's too hot.
14. pajamas without feet and a nice pair of socks to go with it for bedtime.
15. a highchair for when he eats solids.
