hayrides and pumpkins

Now that we're into the month of October (despite 80 + degree weather), it was time to start our ritual of Cox Farms.  As Meagan pointed out, clearly I was the one having the most fun.

Top Left: this slide was hands down the best one there. they give you a burlap sack to sit on so that you go extra fast (no joke, I thought the little girl in front of us was going to go over the edge) and it's a water slide, without the water. made my day.
Top Right: Declyn currently measures exactly 2 feet.
Bottom Left: this was the best we could do; James no longer likes to look directly at the camera.
Bottom Right: if you look closely you'll see James flexing his muscles, king of the hill style.

After about two rides together, he wanted to go down by himself. My mom captured this great moment when he ate shit at the end.  For some reason he refused to keep his feet together and the further he went down the slide, the further apart his legs grew into a splits-style pose until finally he just face planted it at the end.

My mom's chiropractor told her to take it easy, maybe spend the day at a spa.
This was her alternative.

Another awkward family photo. My reasoning behind posting this amazing picture is Declyn. We were  about 7 minutes deep in a 20 minute bumpy hayride and he was out cold-- like mother, like son. When we were little my brother had to once hold up my head up in the back of a jeep while my dad was off-roading.
