26.2

Those lips and lashes ... I could take pictures of them all.day.long.

Checking in on my marathon runner among his peers.

My dad has yet to see the WWII Memorial where my grandpa has his name listed, so we took a moment to stop.  While we were there I couldn't help but get a picture with my mama next to the fountain.  Love this lady.

Squishing the pencil.

My dad was smart enough to snap some pictures when we saw Mike at mile 19.  Thanks, dad!

Waiting in line the day before the race to get Mike's bib.  Luckily, Mike somehow was able to "beat the line" and instead of waiting 2+ hours, we only had to wait about 30-40 minutes.  I sent him to get a soft pretzel and he came back with his packet.

Declyn was more interested in the bib then the picture.  In all fairness, this is Mike's second Marine Corps Marathon, so maybe Dec just wasn't impressed.  But I am!

A glimpse into the after party.

When Mike first saw this he goes, "That's a good picture."  If you look closer, however, you'll see how I'm trying to talk to him and sneak a kiss, while he's too distracted trying to run 26.2 miles ...  understandable.
