The dogs, Declyn and I were outside enjoying this beautiful fall weather and I couldn't help but take a picture of the sun shining through the leaves.  It was such a picturesque moment -- Dec was playing and the dogs were laying out soaking up the rays.  And me? I was just thankful for a quiet moment.  :)

His newest staple in his mouth -- a finger.  Usually it's his, but if you get close enough he'll make it yours.

Aside from looking sleepy, and gazing out the window, little man is learning to use his spoon while he eats.  He seems to favor his left hand (my grandma is a lefty) but I know it's still way too early to tell.

Another move that has become infamous -- hands behind the ears.

Cali watching for people walking by while Dec watches Cali.

Side Note: no, he's not wearing shorts -- his pants sometimes get stuck in his thighs and he gives himself a nice little camel toe.
