Fairfax Corner had a children's festival, including free ice cream day courtesy of Ben & Jerry's, so of course we had to stop by and partake.

Brent fell asleep as is, so I had to take a picture.  How else would he remember such an awesome moment?

James won him a free cookie from PotBelly, so we got a little taste of it while waiting in line for free ice cream.  It was just one of those days -- pure sugar.

Meag and Lyss came over for dinner and Lyss brought these beautiful flowers with her.

(The following day) Declyn got upset about me giving his sweet potato pouch.  He tried to grab it from my hand, and this was the end result.  How perfect was the landing of the sweet potatoes?  And although the look on his face says it all, he was not impressed that I was a. cracking up and b. taking pictures of him.

This is what my brother coined 'Desert-er' or "Din-sert' (I forget which one it was) because Declyn calmly mixed his dinner with his dessert while we were at my moms.  He seemed to enjoy it.
