My maternal instincts were off (I thought for sure with how different this pregnancy was that I was carrying a girl, despite that I was showing the same as I did with Dec) and come November Declyn will have a tiny brother, Keegan Reilly. Seeing the bond that James and Declyn share, I can not wait for our two gentlemen to grow up together, especially so close in age.
Both the technician and the doctor pointed out (separately, might I add), 'Well he isn't shy about letting us know he's a boy.' That's our Keegan for you! :)
We had family guess what they thought we were having before we made our announcement. Then, we all gathered on the deck where Declyn proceeded to pull blue and green confetti out of a bag.
The morning I took the pregnancy test, I snapped these pictures of Declyn. From the moment he found out he was getting a sibling, he was stoked. We also asked him if he thought it was a girl or a boy. He answered, 'Gah', but as we found out, he was also incorrect. ha.
