Having a little snack before heading out for a fourth birthday.
The way these two interact, and the light that shines from Keegs face every time it happens, absolutely melts my heart.
A summary of our fourth:
sprinkles in the morning, sunshine, arrive in DC and it's pure downpour, rain subsided (we were drenched) and we got to enjoy good food, alcoholic beverages and amazing time with family. Thank you, Dan, for being a park police officer (and marrying Meagan) and allowing us VIP access to this party.
It was monsoon-ing when we showed up for our pre-fireworks celebration, so Aunt Denise insisted on holding little munchkin in the car until the rain subsided.
This chunk of a man loves his Godmomma.
Words can't even explain how happy these pictures make me.
My favorite part of this family picture? The photobomb.
"Look, momma!"
Only Mike would think to put baby D on the roof of our car to get the best view of the fireworks possible.
So of course Keegs and I had to join.
Washington D.C. fireworks are the best, even with the overcast. If you look carefully (far right) you can make out The Washington Monument.
