and this is why I don't get shots

After finally getting a flu shot this is the result...

I spent pretty much the whole day on the couch, under a blanket, blowing my nose and trying to sleep.  Mike stopped at the store on the way home to get me supplies, one of them being hot chocolate (he even cut up marshmallows to make it special).

Dinner was tomato soup with cranberry juice.

And I almost went through the entire box of tissues.  

*I would like to pay tribute to my friend Aubrey during this post.  She would be very proud of the stack of tissues I had thrown on the floor and around the house... it looked quite familiar to her room in college. :)  She is the queen of tissues!

Little lady did such a great job of keeping me company the whole day... even cuddling up to me while I sneezed and blew my nose in front of her.  She is such a loyal lady.
