corvette diner

Fen and Cali love basking in the sun, so I decided to join them Sunday morning.  Look at that face...

Back in 2004 my family came out to the west coast for my birthday and one of the places we went was The Corvette Diner, where I purchased a dolphin, named her Bubbles after our waitress, and danced my little heart out to the chicken.  Well, Paul, Lidia and I decided to reminisce and returned to the diner (although its original location is where we go for brunch, Snooze).  It was a little more ADD then I remember, but it's definitely a fun atmosphere... especially for children.

We walked around Point Loma.

They added fat free milkshakes to their menu, so obviously I had to get one.
--notice Aunt Lidia absorbed in all that's going on around us.--  :)

After a long walk these two ladies were tired.

Yes, the restaurant has a hint of pink lighting, thus all the pink in the pictures.

Where the fisherman dock their boats at night.

The entrance to the diner.

14 weeks today!!  As if taking pictures of yourself aren't awkward enough...  I like to stick to all black to keep it slimming.
