it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas

Just as a heads up... Target is my jam.

I was going aisle by aisle to add some goodies to my cart and this is one I peeked my head into and went.... well, guess I don't need to go down that one.  In time...

I started doing some Christmas shopping and I spotted the place where Santa will soon be.

If we're being honest, it was bittersweet walking around shopping while Christmas music was playing.  Obviously it's a bummer not to be home during Thanksgiving, but this is just another life experience to add to our list and fortunately we have my aunt and uncle to hang with for Thanksgiving. And duh, we're going back for Christmas for 2.5 weeks... can't wait.

Every year we go with my family tree hunting a day or two after Thanksgiving.  Since Mike and I won't be home for that adventure, we picked out a tree at Target.  I thought we were looking just to look and get excited about the upcoming holidays, but Mike wanted to buy, buy, buy!  We didn't end up taking this one, instead we went a foot larger and without lights.
