I just thought it'd show off a little (since it may not happen again) but I am currently #1 on the Yahoo Pick'em's ... boooo yeah!!

I am procrastinating about taking our tree down (living in Cali has me kind of just doing what I want, especially since there's no one to judge).  With that said, our tree has started serving as a night light (and a day light) and my favorite time to look at it is when all the lights are out and we're on our way to bed... it looks a little something like what's pictured above.  Who knows, maybe I'll just change the lights to red or pink for Valentine's Day...

Two highlights of today that I didn't take pictures of --

1. Go Ravens!!  Mike and I were supposed to be at our neighbor's house at 5:30 and we didn't even start getting ready until the phenomenal game of Ravens v. Bronco's was over at around 5:30.  The game was literally like watching The Super Bowl and as I was telling Mike,  I think I've gotten even more into football this season (and actually understand more what's going on) because we mostly watch the games just him and I, so I'm actually paying attention to what's going on instead of socializing with friends.

2. Tonight was Mike's San Diego Christmas Party at J Bar.  The event was super crowded with an open bar (that I obviously couldn't enjoy) and food, but it was great to puts names to faces as Mike introduced me to more of his employees, partners and co-workers.  One first year really let loose with the F bomb (LOVED it) and others opened up after a few drinks.  This whole sober thing is really starting to be entertaining... if only someone could tell me what I'm like when I drink.
