our little man is a papaya

That's right -- Declyn now weighs a little over a pound and apparently measures the length of a papaya!  Luckily, he went from the 96.6% growth percent tile to 79% (hopefully making it easier on mama during the delivery).

These pictures are sideways (sorry) but I thought they were two of baby Dec's more unique pictures.  The first is of his chunky thighs (that even the technician made a comment about... calling them meaty - ha) and the one on the right is his spine.  Usually we wouldn't have these extra pictures, but last time we were at the doctors Declyn wouldn't move, so they wanted us to come back to get good pictures of the spine and kidneys.  Of course he was still in the same position as last time (including stretching his leg over his head) but luckily after some fruit punch and toe touches he moved a little bit, allowing the pictures needed to be taken.  

As I told Mike, seeing those chunky thighs for some reason makes me even more excited to see him.  The countdown is definitely on.
