saying goodbye to new friends

A family friend, Chris, was in town with her husband for his work, so we got to spend part of Saturday together.  We walked around La Jolla after lunch and I saw something I've never seen before... beached seals.

Can you spot the cutie, with the raised head, looking up at the camera?

While going to a club almost 7 months pregnant isn't recommended, it was worth it to say goodbye to my lover - Antoine (the other two girls I was introduced to that night).  The "camera man" came up to ask if we wanted our picture taken.  I politely declined, but Antoine can't say no to a picture, so here I am taking it while Antoine is backing it up on my bump... just like in the good 'ol days.

Steine treated me to lunch at George's.  We tried sitting outside on the top deck, but after the hostess offered us blankets and our menus blew off the table, we decided to sit below where the view was just as gorgeous, but we were blocked from the wind.

Dessert from D Bar.

This is what the beauties looked like after some time at the dog park.  I love that thing...

When all's said in done we've purchased 8 tickets in the stadium and 4 in the Green Monster... now it's time to plan which games we're going to and which ones we're going to sell.

I don't think any of us look like ourselves here, but Mike took this while we were waiting for our reservation to be available.  From left -- Jessica & Jesse (married), Robin (myself) & Ryan (dating - live in our building).  These four have been so great to us during our time here and although Mike works with Jessica and Robin, they didn't have to do 1/3 of everything they did for us.  It's not always easy to meet good people these days, and I have to say that we definitely found it in these two couples.

Mike went out on the dance floor to take this picture.  Clearly its been awhile since we've had this scenery to take in.

Mike (blurry) with the birthday boy -- he had a VIP list so we got to cut the lines and not pay to get in.  Being sober in a club is definitely a different experience, to say the least.  Poor Declyn was probably so confused.
