I went to check on Declyn during a nap and the first thing I thought when I found him sleeping like this -- finally, I see myself in him. :) I mean hey, since he doesn't seem to have my looks completely, I will take him having some of my characteristics (even if it's the way we sleep). At least I'm reminded that some of me is somewhere in that little boy.
My creative husband. Who needs a ladder when you have (in order): a stool, a kitchen chair, two recycling bins and lastly (the thing that finally worked) -- a trashcan.
Staying warm while Mom and Dad decorate the house. Despite the blurriness of this picture, I still love his smiling face with the fire in the background.
Our Christmas lights that I love so much that I'm going to keep them up year round. Not only are they magical, but they light up the front path of the house at night.
A glimpse into our decorations.
Note: our dining room walls are not purple; they're a light grayish blue.
I originally bought a Merry Christmas banner that when I got it home looked like a five year old had crafted it without any help. Therefore, I took the advice of Meagan and made my own (using the rope the original one came with). Not too shabby.
