stuck in a snow globe

Declyn was infatuated with all the museum had to offer, as you can see.
The bottom two pictures are from our walk from the car to the restaurant (with me) and the restaurant to the car (with Mike).  What started as a light fall, and a romantic backdrop to our family dinner, quickly turned into an icy ride home and us being stuck in a snow globe.

I had to capture this moment -- it was snowing so hard (and was so cold) that Dec was holding the umbrella with one hand, and pulling his hood closer to his head with the other.  Such a little person.  And a smart one at that.

If your child ever gets bored of toys at a restaurant like ours tends to, Baby Einstein on YouTube is a life.saver.

Shirt :: Janie & Jack
Sweater :: H & M

I kept trying to pull his 'sleeping bag' up closer to his face to keep him as warm as possible, and he kept pulling it down with his two tiny hands.

We passed this sign on our way to the museum and I had to stop.  Love.  No need to say more.  If only it wasn't barricaded off, not to mention the two cops standing next to the barricades.  Otherwise it would had made for a beautiful family pictorial.
