I was beyond stoked to roll into Home Goods and see aisles of Christmas decorations!! I did only make one purchase, which is good for me, but I have a feeling I'll be spending more and more time there.
We had a bbq/dinner at my aunt and uncle's and we took a little trip down memory lane...
This was my dad and uncle's dog, Cleo, growing up. They all still get a little sentimental when she's talked about.
In short-- she was a neighbor's dog who spent all her time with my dad and his brothers, so the owner gave her to them. After X amount of years with her, one day she just disappeared and was never seen again. Everyone thinks she just "went away" to pass in peace, but the unknowing still gets to them.
After seeing Fen mope around the house now and then, Mike and I finally decided to stop talking about getting another boxer puppy (white was our preference) and actually go and check one out. Surprise, surprise-- I fell in love with the first one I saw! Since we're going home soon for about a week, we don't get her until a week from Wednesday. We both can not wait. Fenners has no idea what's in store.
