Fen occasionally would take a break to rest her head on my foot. Probably too much excitement for one area, but I like to think that she was making sure her mama was nearby.

On our way to the beach we stumbled upon a parade in Coronado. It actually worked out perfectly since it was overcast and the beach wasn't going to be that great weather-wise. These sailors reminded me of my own padre. What handsome gentlemen.

Our view of the bay fireworks. Apparently there was an "explosion" and all the fireworks went off at one time so the show was cut short? Not real clear on the details...

FINALLY a Pinterest recipe that worked!! Bruschetta guacamole! This took us (and I emphasize "us" because two people made it possible) about 30 minutes to prepare and was absolutely delicious! I'm so happy to have a success story after a few attempts at some not-so-great recipies.

The love of my life...making me laugh...again. We walked with our new chairs to his parent's hotel and while we were waiting Mike decided to post up outside. Needless to say, the stares we received were priceless. Fenway was even pulling away on the leash trying to dis-associate herself. Smart girl.
