Saturday morning/afternoon we spent hours watching College Football with our friends/neighbors/co-workers (FNC for short). One of the guys is obsessed with college football so when I walked in and saw 3 flat screens set up, I probably should have hid my amazement of the scene.
Second row seats for Cold War Kids = amazing.
We attended the SoCal Music Festival on Saturday afternoon/evening. It went from 2-12, but (as you'll see below), we didn't get out until about 6:45. The festival was a lot of fun with tons of characters -- lets just say police were escorting a pink glittered-bandeau top girl somewhere...
The best part was we walked in and almost immediately Mike turned to me and said, "is it weird that I feel at home here?" umm...
Someone (or some people) needed a siesta before the festiva.
I was trying to capture the Tilt-A-Wheel but instead captured Mike in his comfort zone.
Food trucks are not only adorable, but they can also be quite tasty.
It was fun to watch skaters take their turn on the ramp while listening to the DJ spin records about penetration with every other word more fowl than the last.
I spun the wheel at one of the tents and won free tickets to the Del Mar horse races. Wahoo!!
