I had to wake up at 6 AM to get ready to take my substitute teaching test.  After driving for only 15 minutes I had arrived at the campus, only to not find a parking spot for another 15 minutes. Once I was actually on the campus I had NO CLUE as to where the building was. Fortunately, there were four other lost souls who also didn't know so we spent another 15 minutes trying to find it.  After we made that happen I had to wait 30 minutes for everyone to show up before we could officially start at "8:05."

Once the test started, we were given 4 hours to finish 50 questions pertaining to Reading, 50 for Math and 2 essays.  Seriously??  For a subbing test?  Turns out it's the same preliminary test future teachers take before zoning in on the individual tests for their specific subjects.  Fabulous.

When I got home Mike and I spent the entire afternoon watching college football...something I'm slowly getting into.

My aunt and uncle invited us out to dinner at Stone Brewing. The restaurant was beyond neat. It had garage doors that lifted up to the outside where there were heat lamps and fire pits. Then on the opposite side of the restaurant was the brewing tour where they made the beer. Definitely an interesting place to dine at.
