27 years and one son later

One of my friend's from college got married in the islands this July and although we were sadly unable to make it, we were able to make it to the reception she had locally for those who couldn't attend.  Declyn held his own throughout the entire party, until the end when he started to do this.  Can someone say over-stimulation?

We had my family over for brunch on Sunday morning for my birthday (followed by friends for dinner and drinks).   Look at these two -- like father, like son.  My nephew kept walking around the house going, "Untul Mike's house."

Our new home backs up to woods, making a pretty scenery for pictures.  However, none of the grandchildren were interested in being photographed.

Just a man and his grandson  playing with the new toy Mike got James.
We were at Target running through a list of items we needed when Mike met up with me, asked if James was coming over Sunday, and threw a truck into the shopping cart.  Best uncle.  :)

Eighty years young and the lady has more energy some days then I do.

Roses for the birthday girl.  They were even more gorgeous in person.

Too much partying.  I have to be honest, Mike, Dec and I all took a little siesta in between parties.  Three mimosa's really do a number on a girl these days.
