After a year plus, we finally were able to empty out two storage units and put our modgepodge of personal belongings into Declyn's first home. We moved in on a Wednesday and being the OCD person that I am, I had my poor husband working like he was my employee to get everything set up and decorated before we had our first round of guests on Sunday. I have to give him credit for all that he did and thank him immensely for putting up with me while I was a house Nazi - I love you, B.
Declyn's new way of sleeping ... always watching, making sure he's not missing anything while he's asleep. The best part is he has done this while out on a walk and he falls asleep in his stroller, too.
One of the many surprises we discovered in storage was Declyn's high chair. Luckily, it starts at infant, so Mike assembled that bad boy and plopped Declyn right in. Clearly he took to it well. This smiling face was what I found when I came downstairs one morning and saw him in it for the first time.
Once I am able to remember, I will posts some pictures of some of my favorite spots in the house. I am in love with this blue and white ikat chair I got that Mike wasn't too impressed with .. until it arrived in the mail and he told me that he had to admit it wasn't so bad. Sold.
