banfield, our second home

An hour and a half at the vets will do this to a guy.  I had to bring Cali back to the vets because she was having diarrhea in the house and Mike found some blood in one of them.  We walked out of Banfield with Activia for dogs, prescribed medication, a pill that she takes twice a day and the recommendation of giving her Imodium   The vet wasn't kidding when she said that the combo of white and boxer were one of the worse dogs you could have in terms of illnesses and issues.  But as Mike so often says, 'White boxers need love, too."

I understand that zooming in and cropping the picture the way that I did doesn't make this the most flattering picture of my nephew Brent, but I can't get over how much of an old man he looks like.  My bet is he will look nothing like his brother James, and instead will have tiny features like my sister-in-law.

"Uncle Kate, outside."
"What do you want to do outside?"
"Sweep."
"Fine by me!"
The best part was he took the broom and started singing God knows what into the end of it.  Then him and I had a duo going when he asked me to join him on stage.  Made my day.

Just a little tummy time in his crib.  Every day I wait for him to roll over from his back to front.  He has the head arch and leg swinging down pat, now he just needs to tuck his shoulder and roll.
