When we took Fenners on a walk we got to see a little bit of what Comic Con has to offer. This number was just hanging out on the side of the road while we were meandering by.
One of my good friends Lauren made.my.day when she set up a Skype account and made this her picture! As much as it sucks to be away from family and friends, I do have to give props to Skype-- they make life a little easier.
Walking up the stairs to see where Comic Con was getting started freaked Fen out. She didn't know what to do with all of the people, especially unrecognizable costumes and zombies.
I snapped this for Meagan. She had posted someone walking the streets of Arlington in a lionish costume, so I thought it'd be fitting to send this one back to her.
Tonight's dinner: 3 choices of chicken (lemon, mango and some sort of spice) with an asparagus-like vegetable (with feta cheese and almonds) on the side. I think that Mike's family and my aunt really enjoyed it! I forgot to snap a picture of our dessert-- cupcakes and cake.
The newest addition to our VH (vacation home) has arrived! The padres bought us this mint, hand-painted table from Etsy and we hung pictures that make us smile from wire on the wall. My favorite line? The third one-- it's pictures of Arlington and DC.
Side Note: the bottle pictured on the left was from our seltzer water at the hotel. Almost immediately upon seeing it, Mike loved it, rinsed it out and packed it in our suitcase to put in our casa. I think I'm rubbing off on him. :)
