meeting roxy

Today was a big day for Fen-- she got to meet her San Diego cousin for the first time.  But not, of course, until her mommy and daddy ran a few errands, starting with... Kobey's Swap Meet.

This was a rare discovery we found at the swap meet (or as us east coasters like to call, Flea Market).    They were a bunch of cuties (one con mow hawk) jamming out to some tunes that Mike recognized.

After a long day, Fenway ended it with what she likes to do best-- snuggle with her daddy.  For those of you who don't know my husband; yes, that is his extremely hairy leg.

Kobey's Swap Meet- where over 1,000 vendors come out to sell their things and hidden gems are discovered.  I already told Mike this is going to become our ritual Sunday routine.

Since Roxy is an Alpha Dog, Fenway chose to spend her time digging a hole in the playground filled with sand.  I tried to get a good one, but it got so intense that almost half of her body could fit into the hole and I couldn't keep it together... I was in hysterics only because the little gal was so determined.

My aunt and uncle took Mike and I, along with the dogs, to this place for dinner in Poway.  It had a great flatbread appetizer and amazing grilled chicken salad!

Fenway, having no idea why she has been brought to this park, is just staring into the distance...typical.

My Kobey purchases: an antique dish to hold our odds & ends and a crate-- the start of a bookshelf I hope to create before I leave.  However, with only one crate for sale throughout the entire Swap Meet, who knows how long it will be before I can complete the bookshelf.
